Canadian Dude Says Pet Bison Is His Best Friend: Video

By Robert Paul Reyes

"An Alberta, Canada, man said the 1,821-pound bison he keeps as a pet is his best friend and used to come into the house for water and TV time.

Jim Sautner, who lives near Spruce Grove, Alberta, said Bailey Jr., named for his old bison pet, Bailey Sr., is a low-maintenance companion who eats hay and oats and takes care of his own coat, the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. reported Monday.

`All I do is I take an air hose from the garage and blow his coat off before we go in a parade or to a function of some sort,` Sautner said."

In Canada there`s not much to do besides coining new names for snow, drinking beer, dreaming about moving to America, and praying that every Canadian pop star moves to the United States.

In America if a dude has a bison for a best friend he`s considered a nutcase or a freak, but in Canada he`s just a regular dude.

Sautner should be charged with cruelty to animals, how he dare bring his bison inside his house to watch TV, there`s nothing on Canadian TV worth watching.

Nothing newsworthy ever happens in Canada; why is a story about a man and his bison news? It`s not like the bison was twerking to Miley Cyrus on the radio or singing "Oh, Canada."
