By Robert Paul Reyes

"A New Hampshire cab driver who has been on the job more than 26 years said she has no plans to retire despite her upcoming 90th birthday.

The Nashua driver, who said all of her coworkers and regular customers call her Aunt Dottie, said she will turn 90 in July, but she is hoping to keep driving for SK Taxi well past reaching the milestone, WMUR, Manchester, N.H., reported Friday."

Aunt Dottie is old school; she doesn`t rely on GPS to navigate the congested streets of Nashua. Dottie uses her own knowledge of the city to get around, and in a pinch she will peek at a map.

You might expect Dottie to be a passenger in a hearse instead of driving a cab, by she has not only survived but thrived in the male-dominated industry.

If you see a little old lady with her head barely visible over the steering wheel, don`t be afraid to get on her cab. Aunt Dottie won`t crash into a fire hydrant or get lost; she will get you to your destination without ripping you off.

Go Aunt Dottie, Go!
