Nelson Mandela Conquered His Fears and Our Hearts

By SOP newswire2

"I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear." -Nelson Mandela

Not only did Nelson Mandela conquer his fears but he conquered our hearts. He changed South Africa and he changed the world. He made it a better place.

"Sarah Book Publishing mourns Mandela`s death. We are saddened by the loss of such an amazing leader," said Oladayo Sanusi, Founder of Sarah Book Publishing.

Mandela was born July 18, 1918, in a rural village in South Africa`s Cape Province and died today of a lung infection at the age of 95.  He was given the name Rolihlahla at birth and in Xhosa language it means "troublemaker."

Mandela emerged from prison after 27 years to lead his country as President of South Africa from 1994-1999 out of decades of apartheid.

South African President Jacob Zuma made the announcement about Mandela`s death at a news conference late Thursday, December 5, 2013, saying "we`ve lost our greatest son."
