Outrage: Mini-Mall Owners Lose Liquor License For Growing Pot Behind Beer Cooler

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A California mini-mart has had its liquor license suspended because law enforcement officials found a marijuana growing operation behind the beer coolers.

Officials found 92 marijuana plants and associated indoor growing equipment at the 76 Food Mart in Yuba City back on June 4, leading to the arrest of brothers Eric Hien Vu, 33, and Binh Khoa Vu, 26. The confiscated pot was valued at between $768,000 and $1.9 million."

In a perfect world you would be able to buy beer, weed, and Doritos at a mini-mart. In a perfect world the owners of the mini-mart would be arrested for selling products at ridiculously high prices, not for growing a healthy herb behind the beer coolers. In a perfect world cops would be arresting muggers and rapists and pinning medals on entrepreneurs like these Vietnamese-American brothers. In a perfect world the government wouldn`t act like our nanny and big brother.

Ah, but we don`t live in a perfect world, what`s a man to do but smoke his cares away!
