San Francisco 49ers Send Fans Letter Reminding Them To Cheer: Video

"In advance of the San Francisco 49ers home game against the first place Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, the team apparently sent a letter to fans reminding them that it would be cool if they, you know, like cheer and stuff."



The Seattle Seahawks` fans set the record for crowd noise notching 137.6 decibels reading. By contrast it`s so quiet at a typical 49ers game that you can hear fans clink their wine glasses when the team scores a touchdown.

That`s not to say that 49ers fans don`t express their emotions, they have been known to angrily toss their quiche and stop humming their yoga mantra when an official calls a play against their team.

It`s a good idea for the 49ers to remind their fans to cheer for their team, but the Niners are so talented that they might win the Super Bowl even if their fans are too high on weed to offer much encouragement.
