Swedish Grinch Steals Christmas Mailbox Full of Christmas Cards

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A man was arrested in Sweden after he was caught with a red seasonal mailbox for Christmas cards in the trunk of his car, police said.

Police in Vasteras, a city 60 miles west of Stockholm, responded to a tip and found the unnamed man sitting in his car late Friday night opening Christmas cards, The reported. They searched the car and found the mailbox.

Posten, the Swedish postal service, puts out special red mailboxes in the run-up to Christmas for holiday letters and cards."

The Swedish postal service has a quaint custom of installing red mailboxes during Christmas; wide-eyed children drop their letters to Santa and blue-haired old ladies with weak eyes drop Xmas cards to their grandkids in these festive mailboxes.

Only a soulless Grinch would commit the unspeakable crime of stealing one of these red mailboxes. Vasteras was caught red-handing in his car opening the Christmas cards. This fiend knows that grandmas usually include crisp bills in their Christmas cards to their grandkids.

The cards found in the creep`s car are now on their way to the rightful recipients, and thousands of Swedish children will know that granny still loves them.

Hopefully Vasteras will spend Christmas behind bars!
