Canadian Inmate Surrenders 12 Hours After Christmas Day Escape
"A Canadian inmate who escaped from a minimum-security prison Christmas morning surrendered late that night, calling from a pay phone, police said."
I don`t know what`s more surprising that a prisoner who escaped from prison surrendered after only 12 hours of freedom, or the fact that he called the cops from a pay phone.
This weird news item begs the question: Why did homeboy escape from prison?
Was he desperate to spend Christmas with his family? Did the lover of old technology want to play a few games of Pacman on his Atari? Maybe he just wanted to breathe in fresh air for a few hours.
The correctional officers should watch this inmate carefully; he may escape again on New Year`s Eve.
