Velveeta Shortage Threatens Integrity of Super Bowl: Video

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Kraft Foods in Chicago warned Velveeta fans Tuesday they may have a hard time finding the Super Bowl staple in the weeks leading up to the big Feb. 2 game."

For Philistines who aren`t familiar with Velveeta, it`s the brand name of a processed cheese-like product with a texture that is softer, smoother and more delicious than real cheese.

My Zombie Apocalypse survival kit includes: Duct tape, a shotgun, canned goods, Partridge Family cassettes, water bottles, and plenty of Velveeta.

The Velveeta shortage comes at the most inopportune time: The start of the NFL playoffs when fans spread it on everything from Nachos, to hot dogs to popcorn.

I can`t imagine watching the Super Bowl without Velveeta, Obama needs to get his priorities in order and address this pressing issue immediately.

This national emergency has its own hashtag: #Cheesepocalypse
