'Shipping Wars' Star Roy Garber Dies at 49, Mom Will Adopt Muffy the Cat: Video

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Some sad news struck the world of reality television late last week with the passing of  `Shipping Wars` star Roy Garber. The series spotlights those independent carriers who make thousands shipping unique items; with Roy one of its best-known leading characters."

Garber`s pet cat Muffy was a costar on the hit reality show; she was almost always by his side on camera as well as off. Garber refused to travel anywhere without his faithful companion.

Muffy was by Garber`s side at the hospital when he passed away, according to his girlfriend. When I pass away, whether I`m at a hospital, a hospice or at home, I pray that my loyal dog and my cats will be by my side.

Fans of Garber and Muffy will be glad to know that the feline will live with his mother, I`m sure she will spoil Muffy just like her son did.

Pets, especially cats and dogs, are a blessing to us while we are alive, and even as the Grim Reaper is ready to snatch us they give us enough courage to pass on to the other side.

If this article will inspire even one person to adopt a kitten or a puppy from an animal shelter, I will have accomplished more than I ever hoped as a writer.
