Can a Singing Pets Commercial Save Obamacare? Video!

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Enroll America, the advocacy group leading efforts to enroll Americans in ObamaCare, is launching a multi-million dollar advertising campaign featuring cats, dogs, birds and other pets in a bid to convince young women to sign up for health coverage, USA Today reported.

With less than two months to go before the March 31 deadline to apply for coverage under ObamaCare, Enroll America officials tell the newspaper 81 percent of the public is unaware of the deadline and 69 percent don`t know that financial aid is available to those earning less than 400 percent of the poverty level."

The ad features parrots, a goldfish, dogs, but the undisputed star is a talking cat. Felines rule the Internet, and a talking kitty can sell automobiles, washers and dryers, computers, snacks, adult diapers and just about anything else in the world.

But even if a cat possessed the eloquence of Obama, he`s not going to convince many people to enroll in Obamacare.

This ad is an insult to young women; a cute cat isn`t going to make them forget that the website is a disaster, and it won`t convince them that the Affordable Care Act is actually affordable.

Singing pets might convince women to adopt a parrot or a cat, but even if these pets could do La Macarena and sing the National Anthem it won`t persuade them to enroll in the misbegotten mess known as Obamacare.
