Michael Keaton Interested in Beetlejuice Sequel: Video

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Veteran actor Michael Keaton said he is seriously considering reprising his title role in the 1988 comedy hit `Beetlejuice.`"

In 1988 Michael Keaton`s zany performance in Tim Burton`s 1988 comedy "Beetlejuice" thrust him into superstardom.

In 1989 Keaton followed up the success of "Beetlejuice" with his dramatic role in another Tim Burton film "Batman."

Since then Tim Burton has hitched his star to anther quirky actor Johnny Depp, and Michael Keaton has disappeared from the spotlight.

Keaton hasn`t particularly grown as a thespian, but he has grown old, and not very gracefully. Not to put too fine a point on it but Keaton looks like an anorexic zombie, and he wouldn`t even need any makeup to reprise his role in Beetlejuice II.
