Fugitive Captured After Falling 17 Stories Down Trash Chute

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A fugitive on the run was captured and cuffed after he fell 17 stories down a trash chute while trying to run from police.

`You have to think that he`s extremely desperate,` said Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal Kenneth Deal.

Donnie Griffin was wanted out of Texas on bank fraud charges when he escaped federal custody."

Cops caught up with Griffin on the 17th floor of the apartment where he lives, his only escape route was down the trash chute that went all the way to the first floor. So down the trash chute the imbecile went, with the expected outcome. Griffin survived the fall, but he was too bruised, battered and bloodied to run away from the police.

In a perfect world this human filth would have died in the trash chute, but at least he was captured and returned to prison.

Griffin was taken to the hospital where he was treated for his injuries, hopefully he`s too injured to attempt another escape anytime in the near future.
