Geek Wearing Google Glass Attacked In San Francisco Bar! Duh! Video!
"Tech writer Sarah Slocum wrote on her Facebook page that she was at Molotov`s on Haight Street Friday night. Slocum said she was showing someone at the bar how the high-tech glasses work, when two women confronted her. Then, a man ripped the Google Glass off of her face.
`OMG so you`ll never believe this but ... I got verbally and physically assaulted and robbed last night in the city, had things thrown at me because of some *** Google Glass haters` Slocum wrote on her Facebook page."

If a techie nerd sporting Google Glass walks into a bar that attracts a punk rock clientele, she isn`t going to be welcomed with open arms, free drinks and "I heart you" signs.
Outraged bar patrons stole Slocum`s purse, cell phone, and tore the Google Glass from her face, although she managed to get the wearable computer back.
I realize that surveillance cameras are everywhere and cell phones cameras are ubiquitous, but a line must be drawn.
Google glass should only be worn at a tech-oriented establishment, to wear it anywhere else is to incite and invite violence.
I have an instinctive and visceral reaction to a nerd wearing Google Glass in public, simply put I will go Medieval on his high-tech a**.
I don`t condone violence, but if a tech geek wears Google Glass in public, responding with violence is a moral imperative.
