Pope Francis Kisses Unimpressed Mini-Me: Video

"Pope Francis came face to face with his mini-me during Wednesday`s General Audience in Vatican City, who appeared less than impressed at being greeted by the Pontiff.


Nineteen-month-old Daniele De Sanctis was not amused when his mother Paola Ciabattini hoisted him up to meet the Pope.

The toddler was dressed in a white cassock and cape, white skullcap and even a miniature pectoral cross designed by his grandmother for his audience with Francis, to celebrate the Italian Carnival."

During Carnival in Italy, children dress up as pirates, pop stars or princesses, but this precious toddler was dressed as the pontiff by his mother, and he became the star of Carnival.

It`s not easy to steal the spotlight from charismatic Pope Francis, but all eyes were on the Pope`s Mini Me.

The toddler wasn`t impressed meeting the global celebrity, he wailed when the Pope planted a kiss on his chubby cheeks.

Pope Francis brief reign has been marked by compassion, humility and humanity to such an extent that the sight of a baby dressed as the pope elicits smiles instead of frowns.
