Taco Bell Diner Assaulted for Burping
"A Taco Bell patron grabbed a fellow diner around the throat and struck him with a chair after accusing the victim of not excusing himself after he burped inside the South Carolina eatery. "
The Smoking Gun
I`m a regular guy, and I don`t always observe proper etiquette, but if I belched while dining in a restaurant I probably wouldn`t apologize, but I would at least affect an apologetic facial expression.
However when you are eating at a fast food joint that is notorious for inducing gas attacks and diarrhea, all rules of etiquette go out the window.
If I`m desperate and I dine at a Taco Bell, I don`t mind if the customers belch as long as they don`t retch or have an attack of the runs before making it to the restroom.
To clear the air, the man who was accused of belching, adamantly denies the accusation.
Moral of this story: You`re taking a big risk by dining at Taco Bell
