Cardwell UFO Festival a Senior Citizen Freakfest!

By Robert Paul Reyes

"From aliens to men in black, flying saucers and strange lights, `UFOlogists` gathered to share their stories and theories at the inaugural Cardwell UFO Festival.

Molly Dunn says her first sighting was when she moved from England to New Zealand in 1953.

`It was hairy and it was on the end of my bed and its eyes spoke to me and I was absolutely scared I nearly wet my pants,` she said."

All of the UFO witnesses featured in this Australian Web site story are elderly, I`m not saying they`re senile, but they will soon meet up with the Grim Reaper and be beamed up to the Mother Ship in the Sky.

Molly`s account is particular fascinating, why does she assume that the hairy dude on her bed was an extraterrestrial being and not some bloke she picked up at the bar.

Archie Dunn, another old coot, says he and his old lady saw "men in black" who were robotic in movement and too perfect looking to be real. Dude, they`re called Mormon missionaries!

One of the elderly persons featured in this article is a skeptic: Brad Booth says flying saucers are manmade and claims Bigfoot is a homeless man. Booth is spot on, Bigfoot is a homeless man who needs to be introduced to a razor, and UFO`s are Frisbees, Chinese Lanterns and other manmade objects.

Some senior citizens really need to pick up a hobby that doesn`t involve anal probes and little green men.
