Video Depicts UFO Destroying Taliban Base

By Robert Paul Reyes

"An online video claims the U.S. has a new ally in its fight against terrorism - one from another planet.

The video from the group Section 51 - titled  `UFO ATTACKS TALIBAN CAMP!!! March 204"` - allegedly shows a UFO firing multiple times at a compound that then goes up in smoke. The organization, which seeks to show the reality of UFOs, claims the footage was shot by the U.S. Marines.

The location is then filled with a large pile of smoke, and the film cuts to a triangle-shaped object flying in the sky."

In the idealistic universe of Star Trek, the Prime Directive is the guiding principle of the United Federation of Planets. The Prime Directive prohibits Star Fleet personnel from interfering in the development of alien civilizations.

The United States would be well-advised to adopt the Prime Directive as its ruling principle in the way it interacts with other countries. Every time America has used superior military technology to attempt to impose our democratic values and ideals in Third World countries we have failed miserably.

Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it: Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, when will we finally learn?

This video is obviously fake, if alien beings interfered in Afghanistan it would be on behalf of the Taliban. The extraterrestrials would be aghast at the spectacle of a technologically advanced country trying to impose its values, by brute force, on a land where violent tribes cherish only one value: Appeasing their blood-thirsty deity by enslaving women and killing unbelievers.

How I wish UFO`s would destroy American bases in Afghanistan, we should leave that hellhole immediately. Let the Afghans do what they do best: Kill each other with relish and impunity.
