Outrage: Rapper 50 Cent Throws Out First Pitch at New York Mets Game
"50 Cent was on the mound, but not on the money.
The rap star was comically off target when he threw out the ceremonial first pitch Tuesday night before the Pittsburgh Pirates played the New York Mets at Citi Field.
Standing on the rubber 60 feet, 6 inches from home plate, 50 Cent wound up and launched a left-handed toss that sailed way wide of Mets catcher Anthony Recker. The ball bounced to the backstop and nearly nicked a cameraman standing not all that far from the Mets` on-deck circle as 50 Cent and New York pitcher Jonathon Niese both smiled."
Rap and the NBA go together like chitlins and greens and guns and violence, it`s not unusual to find hip hop artists like Jay Z or Kanye West flashing Illuminati signs from the front row of an NBA arena.
But rappers should be anathema at a baseball game, the New York Mets have defiled America`s pastime by letting 50 Cent throw out the ceremonial first pitch. Rap is a perfect fit for the lightning-quick pace of basketball, but it strikes a discordant note in the slow-paced and dignified game of baseball. Everybody knows there`s no crying or rap in baseball!
50 cent has ruined his street cred by donning a baseball jersey, and by throwing like a girl. After 50 cent humiliation even Vanilla Ice will beat up his punk ass if he runs into him in the streets.
Children, it`s not difficult:
Baseball, rock, beer and hot dogs: Nirvana
Baseball and a rapper throwing out the first pitch: Abomination
