Puppy, Cheetah Cub at San Diego Zoo Become Best Friends: Video

By Robert Paul Reyes

"When a young cheetah cub was without a buddy, zoo keepers in San Diego thought "man`s best friend` could also befriend an oversized feline -- and they were right.

XETV reports the 6-week-old cub named Ruuxa is getting along very well with a Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy named Raina.

Cheetahs are usually born in litters of three to five, but Ruuxa was born alone. KNSD reports that this cheetah cub was abandoned by his mother and will have to be raised by humans at the zoo."

Someone told me it`s all happening at the zoo.
I do believe it, I do believe it`s true.

How sweet, BFFs! Well maybe not best friends forever, the cheetah might eat the dog for dinner in a year.

Animals are just like humans, they need companionship and love. The cheetah cub and the puppy are best buds; they often snuggle together when they take a nap.

We can learn a lot from these cute and cuddly creatures; we shouldn`t let superficial appearances prevent us from becoming friends with each other.

If only Putin and Obama could grasp this lesson, but the Russian Bear would probably devour the American pussy ... cat.

Young children could learn a lot about love, companionship and responsibility from a puppy; visit your local animal shelter today.
