Disabled Woman Wards Off Intruder With A Backscratcher

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A disabled Indiana woman was able to use a backscratcher and a wrench to fight off an intruder who invaded her home in Marion.

A man wearing a hockey mask began threatening the Kearneys with a wrench and demanding money. Unfortunately for him, Kearney figured out that he didn`t have a gun and went after him with a backscratcher.

"I said not in my house, not in my house, and I boom, boom, boom,` "

In 99 out of a 100 cases when you bring a backscratcher to a wrench fight, you`re going to end up bloody battered, bruised and with broken bones.

But luck and the element of surprise was on the side of this woman who suffers from COPD and lung cancer. She beat the living hell out of the intruder with the backscratcher, and when he dropped his wrench in the face of the relentless assault, she beat him with the wrench as well.

Luck won`t always be on the side of this elderly couple, I strongly advise them to buy a shotgun.

The intruder has yet to be identified or apprehended.
