Judyth Piazza interviews Jose Palacios, Author of The Windblower

By Judyth Piazza CEO (Editor)

Current book "The Windblower" by Jose Ramon Palacios was published on June 9, 2014 by Sarah Books. Available from www.amazon.com and other sources. Historical saga, drama, and thriller, immersed in music, particularly Mariachi and other genre, dealing with Native American issues...Mexican, Chicano, Anglo-Chicano, cartels, intertwined to create a suspenseful story you will not put down. Questions: send e-mails to jrpwindblower@aol.com

My second book that should be finished soon is non-fiction and deals with the employment of child labor for picking cotton, specifically Mexican American children, in South Texas. Exposed to harmful pesticides/herbicides and other cruel conditions could possibly explain the high disease rates and low academic achievements among Chicanos/Mexican-Americans today and other chemically-induced conditions not yet identified.

I am asking mis amigos to please send pictures you may have about your parents or grandparents, or other, in scenes where they are engaged in hand-picking cotton, the cotton trailers, the old paneled farm trucks, the long, sagging cotton sacks, eating tasty tacos de frigjoles con chile under la traila or el troke or under a palo alto, etc. Hope to hear from you at jrpwindblower@aol.com
