NASA: We Will Discover Intelligent Extraterrestrial Life in Next 20 Years!

By Robert Paul Reyes

"NASA predicts that 100 million worlds in our own Milky Way galaxy may host alien life, and space program scientists estimate that humans will be able to find life within two decades.

Speaking at NASA`s Washington headquarters on Monday, the space agency outlined a plan to search for alien life using current telescope technology, and announced the launch of the Transiting Exoplanet Surveying Satellite in 2017. The NASA administrators and scientists estimate that humans will be able to locate alien life within the next 20 years."

I have written over a hundred articles, over the last decade, debunking, and ridiculing the ridiculous assertions of spaced-out individuals that they have seen flying saucers, some characters even claim they been anal-probed by kinky extraterrestrial beings.

But I believe that the universe is teeming with alien life forms. Scientists, real scientists not UFOlogists, believe that in the Milky Way galaxy perhaps 10 to 20 per cent of stars have Earth-size planets that could sustain life.

There have been tens of thousands of UFO sightings, and thousands of photographs and videos of UFO`s, but there hasn`t been one single verified sighting of an extraterrestrial craft.

We have allowed MUFON investigators, moonshine-fortified rednecks, and bored suburban housewives completely dominate the subject of alien life.

Most people are familiar with the SETI project, the collective name for a number of activities undertaken to search for intelligent extraterrestrial life, some of the most well-known projects are run by Harvard University and the SETI institute. But what most folks don`t know is that in 1995 the United States federal government ceased funding to SETI projects.

In recent years the federal government resumed funding SETI projects, but at very modest levels.

I`m delighted that the federal government is once again serious about searching for intelligent life in the cosmos, evidenced by the launch of the Transiting Exoplanet Surveying Satellite in 2017.

I believe that in the near future intelligent extraterrestrial life will be discovered, the earth-shaking announcement won`t be made by a MUFON investigator or a hillbilly wearing a tin-foil hat, but by a NASA scientist.
