The boy was identified as Dallas Harden, 16, of the 4300 block of West Park Lane in Alsip, according to the Cook County medical examiner`s office."

CBS

This is such a sad and tragic story, a young life with so much potential ended much too soon ...

Sorry, I will never again channel Dr. Drew; this is a perfect example of karma, poetic justice and Darwin`s Law.

A teenager who steals construction material from a construction business isn`t destined to become a professor, scientist or police officer.

Fate intervened to save taxpayers untold thousands of dollars, and for that we should all be exceedingly grateful.

The two teen criminals who were with Harden were charged with criminal trespass, and released to their parents.

They should have been charged with felony theft, and been immediately confined in a juvenile detention facility until their trial.

I least I hope that the two punks who got off scot-free were beaten half to death with metal rods by their parents.
