By Robert Paul Reyes

"A 49-year-old homeless man was beaten and robbed of his pants Thursday in Daytona Beach, according to police.

Andre Dyte, 24, and Devante Mims, 22, were arrested in the beating, which occurred around 2 a.m. along North Grandview.

Dyte and Mims were arrested on charges of robbery without a firearm and battery causing bodily harm.  They were both on felony probation for robbery and burglary, police said."

A homeless person has pretty much hit rock bottom, but at least he can take consolation knowing he doesn`t have a house so he can`t be burglarized, and he doesn`t wear jewelry so he can`t be mugged.

Wrong!

Roy Hinsch was walking down the street at two in the morning (what else are you going to do when you`re homeless) when two thugs beat him up, emptied his pockets, and for good measure robbed him of his pants.

I found the link to the ClickOrlando.Com article on the Drudge Report, but if the muggers were white instead of black, and the victim had been black this story would have been featured on the front page of every major newspaper in America.

I can just hear Rev. Al Sharpton:

African Americans will soon be an endangered species! A brother can`t walk down the street, without being beat up and having his pants stolen by racist crackers. No Justice, No Peace! We won`t stop protesting until these white criminals are behind bars!

The predatory animals were on probation for robbery and burglary; there is no justice or peace for law-abiding citizens when criminals are allowed to roam free and prey on victims with impunity.
