By Robert Paul Reyes

"Call it a slow-speed chase. Police caught up with a woman who rode away from a Michigan Wal-Mart with the store`s motorized wheelchair - and $600 worth of stolen merchandise, authorities said.

Shirley Mason, 46, was located riding away with her loot two miles from Wal-Mart in Fruitport Township, Michigan on Monday and charged with stealing the wheelchair, valued at $1,200."

If you shoplift it requires a minimum of forethought and planning, at the very least you should have a getaway vehicle at the ready in case you get caught.

Mason is such a loser she probably doesn`t even own a car, and she was too lazy to make a run for it, so she motored off in a Walmart motorized wheelchair.

Mason was nabbed by the cops, with the stolen merchandise, two miles away from Walmart. At least if you flee from a crime scene in a wheelchair, the cops can`t pile on by charging you with speeding.
