t.A.T.u.'s Yulia Volkova Would 'Condemn' Her Son If He Were Gay

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Yulia Volkova says she would condemn her son if he were gay.

The 29-year-old t.A.T.u. singer made the statement during her appearance on Ukrainian game show Lie Detector this week. Volkova openly supported the LGBT community for years, but appeared to have changed her viewpoint on the program."

t.A.T.u. is a Russian music duo that consisted of Lena Katina and Yulia Volkova. The duo achieved worldwide success in 2002 based solely on their hit single and video (All the Things She Said) that depicted the girls wearing schoolgirl uniforms and kissing each other passionately.

Some folks have a problem with butch lesbians, but everybody, including hypocritical evangelicals, loves them some lipstick lesbians. t.A.T.u. worked that fake lesbian thing to death, earning millions in the process.

But celebrity and pretending to be lesbians can only take you so far, and t.A.T.u. slipped into irrelevance, they have reunited and broken up too many times to remember.

It`s only Volkova`s outrageous comment that has brought t.A.T.u. back into the news. I can understand a mother not being accepting of the gay lifestyle because of religious or moral reasons, but I can`t understand a mother condemning her son for any reason.

"I believe that a real man must be a real man," the singer declared. A man`s masculinity or moral character has nothing to do with his sexual orientation. It`s time that t.A.T.u. be relegated to the dustbin of musical history, once and for all.
