Bear Prevents Slacker Mailman From Delivering Package

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A British Columbia man said a postal worker who failed to deliver a package to his porch left behind a note explaining why: Bear at door.

The Vancouver-area man posted a picture of the postal worker`s delivery failure notice, which he said was left in his mailbox up the street, and the worker had checked the box marked "other` and written in `Bear at door.`"

The motto of the USPS: Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds.

I don`t care if there`s a blizzard or a tornado in my neighborhood, I expect my mailman to deliver my mail. (Even though all I ever receive is junk mail)

Apparently in Canada postal workers aren`t required to have similar dedication, a wimpy Canadian mailman refused to deliver a package because there was a bear at a door.

Bears and abominable snowmen are as common in Canada as squirrels and deer are in America, that slacker postal worker should be immediately terminated.
