ISIS Beheads British Aid Worker Alan Henning

By Robert Paul Reyes

A video purporting to show UK hostage Alan Henning being beheaded has been released by Islamic State militants.

Alan Henning is the fourth Westerner to be beheaded on video by the ISIS Islamic terrorists.

The murder of this British humanitarian aid worker is absolutely abhorrent, senseless, and an affront to religion, and all civilized norms.

Henning risked his life to go to Syria to help orphaned children, women, and other victims of Syria`s intractable civil and sectarian war.

Henning didn`t formulate British foreign policy; he was a simple taxi driver who joined a Muslim aid organization to do what he could to lessen the misery in Syria.

The killing of this gentle soul, a father of two is abhorrent, but the beheading of Westerners shouldn`t incite us to once again send our American young men and women to war in the quagmire that is the Middle East. Let the Sunnis and the Shiites kill each other, and let Allah sort them out.

But it should embolden us to recognize the threat that Islam poses to the West in general and to the United States in particular.

Obama has said that ISIS, which calls itself the "Islamic State", is neither Islamic nor a state. ISIS may not be a state, at least not yet, but it is Islamic to the core.

There is no democracy, women`s rights or religious freedom in any Islamic nation, ISIS isn`t fundamentally different from any Muslim country, the terrorist organization shares the same basic odious religious and political ideology as any Sunni or Shiite Muslim country.  The only difference is that ISIS has no patience, they have no desire to gradually destroy the West, and they want infidels to die a bloody death now.

Islam the religion of peace? The beheading videos are doing a wonderful job of convincing me of this truth.
