Artist Creates Crop Circle Art to Raise Awareness of Ebola Epidemic
"An Italian land artist has created a huge work of art in a farm field to raise awareness about the Ebola epidemic.
Dario Gambarin carved up 37-thousand square metres of field on Tuesday in Castagnaro to mark out a 200-metre long drawing of the Ebola virus. The artist from Verona said that he wanted to draw attention to the crisis, after a Spanish nursing assistant was infected in the first case of Ebola being transmitted outside of West Africa."
There`s a crop circle in Italy that you can`t blame on UFOs or pranksters -- an artist created the huge work of art in a farm field to raise awareness about the Ebola epidemic.
Gambarin uses a tractor not a paint brush to create his masterpieces; he`s previously made a crop art portrait of President Barack Hussein Obama.
In the United States there`s been saturation coverage of the Ebola epidemic, at least in the cable news networks. I don`t think there`s an American who doesn`t have an image of the Ebola virus etched in his mind; I think it was superfluous for the artist to etch " Ebola Virus " next to his depiction of the virus.
But it`s all good; maybe global citizens will be motivated to financially support the fight against the dreaded disease in West Africa.
