Alicia Keys Protests Kidnapping of Nigerian Schoolgirls by Islamic Terrorists: Video

By Robert Paul Reyes

"It shocked the world when in April, 219 Nigerian schoolgirls were kidnapped by Boko Haram militants.

Six months later their story is in danger of being forgotten, so to mark the half-year anniversary of the incident, Alicia Keys organized a protest in front of the Nigerian consulate in New York on Tuesday.

The 33-year-old singer held a rally along with 30 women and raised awareness by holding several signs that read `We Are Here To Bring Back Our Girls Now.`"

Protests, hashtags, and social media campaigns may work to persuade a grocery store chain to ban plastic bags, but these methods are ineffectual in shaming Islamic terrorists into releasing the girls they`ve kidnapped.

Alicia Keys should have been protesting in front of a mosque, the failure of mainstream Islamic organization to speak out against the atrocities committed in the name of Allah is the epitome of cowardice.

If Keys wanted to speak out against the abuse of children by Catholic priests, I`m sure she would protest outside a Roman Catholic Church.

Evil must be confronted directly; it`s the Islamic extremists who kill with abandon in the name of Allah and the Islamic moderates who are too timid to speak out against these radicals, who are responsible for the scourge of Islamic terrorism all over the world.

Keys publicized her protest on her Twitter and Instagram pages, Islamic terrorists won`t be deterred from perpetrating acts of savagery and brutality by a billion tweets.

The only thing that gets their attention is bombs and rockets, but that`s Nigeria`s problem, not ours.
