Judyth Piazza interviews Jack L. Parker, Author of The Valley of Tranquility

Mike Stratton pulled over and stopped the car at the top of the rise. The valley below was still as beautiful as it was the first time he and his two friends, Scott and Reddy, saw it so many years ago. It was the summer after they graduated from high school. They had taken a trip up California`s Highway 49, California`s famous Mother Lode Highway. They had camped out, explored, and because the three of them loved to fly fish, they had fished wherever they could. Their trip ended in this beautiful, off-the-beaten path valley.

Here they had also camped, explored, and fished in the trout-filled stream running through the lush floor of the valley. They even got to know some of the friendly people living in the valley`s small village. Mike knew from the first time he saw it that some day, he would somehow come back there to live.

The valley had cast its magic spell. Mike could not count the times he had dreams of returning. Now he had returned, hopefully to fulfill his dream.

Jack L. Parker has taken a break from  writing his popular series pf adventure travel novels. Before she passed away, Jack`s sister-in-law, Linda, suggested he write The Valley Of Tranquility. The book is written in her memory. Hopefully, it will be enjoyed by readers as much as he enjoyed writing it.

Jack lives in Roseville, California, with his wife, Susan and three small dogs. He writes full time and fly fishes as much as he possibly can. Jack is currently working on the fifth book in his adventure travel series of novels.
