Ebola Dr. Craig Spencer is Not a Hero!
"The city`s first Ebola patient initially lied to authorities about his travels around the city following his return from treating disease victims in Africa, law-enforcement sources said.
Dr. Craig Spencer at first told officials that he isolated himself in his Harlem apartment and didn`t admit he rode the subways, dined out and went bowling until cops looked at his MetroCard the sources said."
The New York Post
Dr. Craig Spencer is portrayed as a hero by the media, but he`s a liar who callously, casually and recklessly risked spreading Ebola to his fellow New Yorkers.
Treating Ebola patients in West Africa is noble, heroic and worthy of praise and admiration. Riding the subway, dining in restaurants, and bowling when you just returned from West Africa where you treated Ebola patients is cowardly, contemptible and worthy of condemnation and outrage.
Dr. Spencer told authorities that he isolated himself in his Harlem apartment -- some form of self-quarantine that this Typhoid Mary practiced.
Human nature being what it is, we can`t rely on nurses and doctors who just returned to America from the Ebola hot zone to quarantine themselves. In fact, we shouldn`t allow them to return home until they have been quarantined for 21 days in Africa.
Dr. Spencer is no hero, and hopefully he will survive, but be shunned by polite society and be treated like a persona non grata in New York City.
