By Robert Paul Reyes

"Starting 10 a.m. Wednesday from Studio 1A at 30 Rock, Al Roker will launch his bid to break the Guinness World Record for the Longest Uninterrupted Live Weather Report Broadcast (24 hours). Roker hopes to reach 34 hours and he`ll do it live " through Friday at 8 a.m., if all goes as planned.

His weathercasts will air on NBC,, 220 NBC affiliates, CNBC, MSNBC, The Weather Channel and several Canadian and Australian TV stations."

Al Roker has two claims to fame: He`s one of only a handful of black nerds known to exist, and in 2002 he pooped his pants during a visit to the White House.

I can tolerate only a few minutes of watching a nerd on television, but I might tune in if there was a chance Roker would crap his pants on live TV. But there`s a slight chance of that happening, he will get five minutes off for every hour he`s on the air.
