It Took a Comic (Hannibal Buress) to Bring Down a Comic (Bill Cosby)! Video!
Bill Cosby wasn`t brought down by his victims, even though they had compelling and convincing narratives of being raped by the disgraced comic.
Cosby career didn`t collapse because a religious leader, speaking truth to power, publicly condemned him for his serial sexual assaults on women.
Cosby`s career wasn`t destroyed by an enterprising investigative journalist who unearthed all the dirt on the hypocritical entertainer.
Cosby was humbled only because of what standup comic Hannibal Buress said on stage in Philadelphia last month:
Bill Cosby has the fucki*` smuggest old black man public persona that I hate. He gets on TV, `Pull your pants up black people, I was on TV in the 80s! I can talk down to you because I had a successful sitcom! Yeah, but you rape women, Bill Cosby, so turn the crazy down a couple notches.
It wasn`t until Buress ripped Cosby that the testimonies of over a dozen women alleging that the beloved sitcom star raped were given any legitimacy or credence.
I hate censorship and political-correctness especially when it`s applied to standup comics. Fuc* censorship and Fuc* political-correctness, a comic should be free to let it rip, trample over social norms and not be constrained in any way whatsoever!
Fuc* Bill Cosby!
