Bill Cosby Resigns From Temple University Board: Video

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Bill Cosby resigned Monday from Temple University`s Board of Trustees, a position he has held since 1982.

Cosby`s resignation came as trustees were prepared to meet and discuss his connections to the university and as alumni pressured Temple through a petition to sever ties.

Twenty women have now accused Cosby of sexual assault, bringing his legacy and connections under intense scrutiny. The comedian has denied the allegations repeatedly and he has not been charged with any crime."

Temple University isn`t the first university to cut ties with the disgraced comic, but this is a devastating blow for Cosby. Not only did Cosby serve on the Board of Trustees for 32 years, but he also attended Temple, and he was a proud alumni and booster of the university. Do a Google image search of "Bill Cosby Temple University" and you will get thousands of images of Cosby wearing Temple University attire.

Cosby`s love for Temple didn`t stop him from allegedly sexually assaulting Temple employee Andrea Constand.

The only thing that stopped Cosby`s alleged string of sexual assaults spanning decades was old age. If Cosby wanted to rape a woman today, not only would he have to drug his victim, but he would have to drug himself as well, by swallowing an entire bottle of Viagra.

The statute of limitations has expired, and Cosby will never be indicted for his crimes, but it`s a small comfort to his victims that he has been ostracized by universities, television networks, comedy venues, fans and fellow celebrities.

Bill Cosby`s long relationship with his beloved Temple University has come to an inglorious end, shame on anyone who is still supporting Cosby in the face of a mountain of evidence proving he`s a serial rapist.
