Judyth Piazza Interviews People's Sexiest Teacher Alive, Nicholas Ferroni

By Judyth Piazza CEO (Editor)

Nicholas Ferroni is a revered high school teacher who mentors his mostly lower income students with deep personal commitment and care. Nick, 35, lives in his hometown of Union, New Jersey, where he teaches History in the same high school that he attended. Nick is currently pursuing his Masters in History and Education.

This month he was named Sexiest Teacher as one of People Magazine`s Sexiest Men Alive, joining Chris Hemsworth, Michael Strahan, Bradley Cooper, Blake Shelton and Chris Pratt, among others.

His just released and already controversial PSA, Preach What You Practice, addresses today`s top professional athletes and reminds them of their obligation as a role model to help improve the nutritional health of America`s youth.

Ferroni is a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post and devotes many hours to causes he feels passionate about.

He was named one of the 100 most influential people in America for his commitment to education reform and has developed the Teach the Truth campaign to incorporate more minority figures in social studies curriculum as well as including the history of the Gay and Lesbian Civil Rights movement. Nick was also named one of Men`s Fitness Magazine`s Fittest Men in the World, an honor generally reserved for prominent athletes and actors. He has received national attention by numerous educators and doctors for his unique and innovative methodology in successfully reaching contemporary and urban students.

Nick is also a writer and actor who passed on a recurring role on All My Children as well as several film roles because they conflicted with teaching. Nick is now focusing on the reality and documentary world. He has several history-themed projects in development that he hopes to produce and to host.

Of his many accomplishments, Nick is proudest of being a beloved teacher. He will continue to balance teaching with his work in film and television.
