Outrage! 200-Pound Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Statue Stolen!

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Someone has made off with a 200-pound wooden Rudolph statue from a neighborhood in Los Angeles County.

The theft of the statue, which sits atop Ranchview Road in the Rolling Hills Estates area, occurred Friday night.

The iconic statue has been a fixture in the community for 50 years."

CBS News

Only a Grinch with a heart shrunken to the size of a pea would dare steal such a beloved Christmas icon.  When the miscreant is apprehended by the long arm of the law, he shouldn`t be released from jail until after the holidays.

You would think that the hefty weight of the statue would preclude it from ever being stolen, but there is no obstacle too big for someone determined to do evil.

To add insult to injury the thieves left behind his broken antler. How the hell are you going to explain such blatant evil to a small child who worships Rudolph the Red-nosed reindeer?

Let`s hope the dastardly criminal who stole Rudolph will return it, so the good folks in the Rolling Hills Estates area will enjoy a Merry Christmas!
