Firefighters Free Naked Woman Trapped in Chimney

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Riverside County firefighters spent two hours working to free a woman stuck in a fireplace at a Woodcrest home early Saturday.

Tony Hernandez, the homeowner, identified the woman as the mother of his children, and says he did not want her in the house.

The 35-year-old woman was reported stuck at about 5 a.m. in the 15800 block of Rancho Viejo Drive.

Hernandez said he nearly fell off the roof trying to rescue her, and that`s when he called 911. His wife said she told him she had knocked and rang the doorbell during the night. Hernandez said he did not hear anything."

The husband`s estranged wife said she knocked on the front door, before trying to gain access to the house via the chimney. The crazy woman wanted to see her children, if she had a smidgen of common sense; she would have simply walked away when nobody responded to her knock on the door, and returned at a more sensible time.

When it comes time to decide custody of the children, all Hernandez has to do is play the news video of his estranged wife stuck in the chimney for the judge, and he will be awarded sole custody.

The woman suffered only minor injuries, but the damage to the chimney was extensive, and it will have to be rebuilt.

This ABC 7 article failed to mention the most pertinent fact about this incident, the woman was naked as a jaybird, the brainiac figured that shedding her clothes would help her slide down the 1 foot by 1 foot chimney.
