James Boyd`s YouTube Video, Capturing his Murder by the Albuquerque Police, Opens Up Your Eyes!

By John G. Kays

A fair amount of distractions have been coming my way today, diverting me from my chosen purpose! What might that be, Your Royal Highness? It`s none other than the serious deteriorating situation, I`m just now encountering with the recognizably Fascist-Like behavior of the Albuquerque Police Department, over the past 4 or 5 years, say!

Okay, so I watched the YouTube video of the APD public murder (on March 16, 2014), of not such a bad homeless man, 38-year-old James Boyd, around 20 times! It was good to hear that murder charges were finally filed against the two officers who did the killing; they are Keith Sandy and Dominique Perez

What I gathered, after reading over a group of reliable sources, is, had it not been for the fact that the U.S. Justice Department  breathing down the neck of the Albuquerque DA and PD, this inkling (beginnings) of justice never would`ve seen the light! I just saw Selma a few days ago, so this take on why we`re seeing a dramatic change here in New Mexico, is a recurring, recognizable pattern, in our nation`s history.

The publishing of the video, shot from a camera mounted on an officer`s helmet (was he one of the killers?), doesn`t hurt either in making us aware of how bad this situation is in Albuquerque. This may top Ferguson and/or Staten Island, in terms of cold-blooded brutality and disregard for human life. It`s a public execution, no doubt about it!

This statistic stands out for the trouble they`re experiencing in Albuquerque; the police have been involved in 40 shootings since January of 2010, of those, 27 of them have been fatal (USA Today)! I`ve been thinking about this stat a lot this morning, but can`t hardly believe it. James Boyd is only one death, but fortunately we have an accurate record of this one.

I don`t believe most of us will get a chance to review the other 26, but hopefully the Feds will get through them. I did view a report by CNN on Christopher Torres, another supposedly mentally ill man killed by the APD. His death, for me, just demonstrates this unfair, out-of-control police force has done this before (Are repeat offenders!).

As it was explained in these CNN reports, the Albuquerque PD has a history of this kind of abusive, oppressive behavior, towards many of their citizens, which might be explained by the fact that the Bernalillo County District Attorney (Kari Brandenburg) never punishes any of these bad cops; just the opposite, these bad seeds get rewarded!

Brandenburg`s sudden shift in behavior also can be explained by the probability she doesn`t want another Ferguson, plus the fact, the Feds are up on her like white on rice. Freedom of the Press is a beautiful thing to behold! Thank You CNN, USA Today, NBC, the Huffington Post, The New York Times, and ABC, for making us aware of this dire situation developing in New Mexico! I sense, all of us will keep our eyes peeled on this SouthWest area, but not for Meth Labs.

The United States is not a POLICE STATE (keep chanting this mantra until it becomes a reality)!
