"The biggest sporting event on Planet Earth is back Sunday. No, not the Super Bowl; we`re talking about the second annual Kitten Bowl, people.
Feline Football League (FFL) Commissioner Boomer Esiason will preside over the event, which will be broadcast on the Hallmark Channel on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. If you don`t get that channel, you can stream the event online. "
There will be no intentional deflating of footballs at the second annual Kitten Bowl, although a kitty with overgrown toenails may accidentally deflate one of the non-official footballs.
There will be no kittens on steroids or any other banned substances, although there may be one or two felines high on catnip.
There will be no skanky cheerleaders on the sideline, although the kittens on the gridiron will be cheered on by the most adorable pussycats in the bleachers.
There will be no smack-talking or narcissistic celebrations, although there will be plenty of meowing and purring.
But everyone watching the Kitten Bowl is guaranteed to have a purr-fect evening.
