Yet Another Deflategate Super Bowl Story: Video

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Sarris Candies in Washington County is getting into the Super Bowl spirit with a sweet treat in honor of deflate-gate.

Sarris` candy makers jokingly created the "Bradie` ball " a chocolate in the shape of a deflated football.

The hollow, milk chocolate football weighs about 2.5 lbs., they the jokingly said on their Facebook page that the sweet treat`s net weight is `13 lbs.... Oops! We meant 11.2 lbs.`"

Everyone from confectioners to sports journalists to humble bloggers is exploiting the deflategate scandal for their own nefarious ends.

The Bradie Ball is deliberately misspelled so that Tom Brady won`t sue and deflate the profits of Sarris Candies.

The Bradie Ball isn`t for sale; it`s simply a publicity stunt. It worked! If Sarris Candies opens a store in my neck of the woods, I`m there.

I`ll be glad when the Super Bowl is over, and we won`t hear another thing about deflategate.
