SOP Word of the Day: Change

SOP Word of the Day: Change

By Keith Johnson

According to my Webster`s Unabridged Dictionary, the word change is a noun that means "replacement". In the business world, this is the wildcard that must be dealt with each and every day. How does a company forge ahead each day knowing that there are no guarantees of any kind? How does a company cope with the fact that things change and that people change jobs? Indeed, this is not an easy question to answer.

As a Technical Writer with more than twenty years of work experience, I can tell you that the best way to "hedge" against through effective documentation. Documentation is not just for computer source code. Documentation is a great way to record official processes and procedures and facts that are essential for day to day operations and sales.

Over the years, I blog and write about my experiences as a Technical Writer. So, yesterday, I finally finished publishing onto Amazon/CreateSpace a new book entitled "Musings of a Technical Writer". There are many essays in this book that will help you as an individual and a company to deal with and cope with change and the unknown that rests ahead.

Happy Reading and Best Regards,
