Firefighters Resuscitate Two Cats

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Firefighters in Oregon said they used oxygen delivery kits to resuscitate two cats rescued from a house fire in the Beavercreek area.

Firefighters found two cats unconscious on the second floor of the home and they were removed from the building and treated using a pet resuscitation device composed of a plastic cone designed to fit over the mouth and nose of a cat or dog and a high-flow oxygen cylinder."

A firefighter rescuing a kitty from a tree is an iconic and heartwarming scene; it restores your faith in humanity and the sanctity of life.

But for firefighter to rescue two unconscious cats from a burning home, and then revive them using an oxygen deliver kit, goes beyond the call of duty.

Kudos to the brave first responders, they are scholars, gentlemen and heroes!

The cats were taken to a vet for treatment, and they are doing just fine.
