NASA Helium Balloon Mistaken for UFO in Australia! Stop the Insanity!

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Many people in Victoria took a NASA balloon for an unidentified flying object (UFO) and one of them even called police, the Southland Times reported.

People soon took to social media after spotting NASA balloon in the sky above Victoria and thought it was a UFO."

I can understand an aerodynamic Stealth bomber being confused for a spaceship of extraterrestrial origin, and I can even understand a stoner mistaking a Frisbee for a flying saucer, but wetting your drawers because you think a NASA Super Pressure Balloon is a UFO boggles the mind.

Practically any object, (be it a balloon, drone, kite, Chinese lantern, paper airplane) that is launched in the sky will be mistaken for a UFO.

If you think you saw a UFO, by all means take to social media to share your experience, but for God`s sake don`t call the police.
