"A Virginia Beach man was arrested within an hour after he allegedly robbed the Townebank at 297 Constitution Drive Monday afternoon. And in the 20 minutes it took for police to find him, he was able to post some incriminating evidence to his Instagram account."
The robber, Antonio Alfonseca, claims the incident wasn`t a robbery because he politely requested money and didn`t threaten the clerk.
If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it`s a freaking duck. If a man walks into a bank, and hands the teller a note requesting money, he`s a bank robber.
It would be poetic justice if Alfonseca is assigned a 350-pound cellmate, who will politely request that he pull down his drawers, and bend over, and after he`s brutally assaulted the rapist will claim that it wasn`t rape because he politely requested his victim to disrobe and he graciously consented.
The polite robber posted a couple of videos of his adventure inside the bank to Instagram along with a picture of the note he handed the teller.
Let`s hope that Alfonseca`s mug shot will get wider exposure than his Instagram account.
