Blind Woman 'Sees' 3-D Ultrasound Image of Fetus: Video

By Robert Paul Reyes

The excitement of embracing your baby for the first time is unique. For her it was even more special. This is the true story of Tatiana, who is #CountingTheDays to embrace the little Murilo. Huggies is a brand concerned about every moment between a mother and a son, including one of the most important: the first time they meet.

YouTube video description

One of the most thrilling experiences for an expectant mother is when her doctor shows her an ultrasound image of her fetus. At that magical moment the fetus growing in her belly becomes a baby.

In this high-tech age there is no reason why a blind mother can`t "see" an image of the miracle growing inside her. Indeed, in Brazil a blind mother has seen an ultrasound image of her unborn baby.

Tatiana Guerra, 30, who lost her sight at the age of 17, was able to "see" the face of her unborn son with a 3D printing of an ultrasound image.

Technology is wonderful, especially when it allows a blind mother to see an image of her unborn baby.
