Atlanta Falcons Waive Player Who Kicked Girlfriend's Dog to Death

By Robert Paul Reyes

"An Atlanta Falcons football player is accused of killing his ex-girlfriend`s dog.

Gwinnett County police charged Prince Shembo with felony aggravated cruelty to animals.

Shembo`s ex-girlfriend, Denicia Williams, told police the incident happened when she and her dog, Dior, went to Shembo`s Buford home on April 19.

Williams says she left Shembo and the 5-pound Yorkie alone and later found the dog unresponsive. Dior died at the Duluth Animal Hospital.

Williams says Shembo told her he had kicked the dog. "

The 6-foot-1, 253-pound brute confessed to killing the dog named Dior in a phone call with Denicia Williams, his now ex-girlfriend.

Denicia did the right move in dumping Shembo, a sadist who is capable of kicking a 5-pound dog to death, is capable of committing domestic violence against any woman in his life.

And the Atlanta Falcons did the right thing in cutting him loose; even the violence-ridden world of the NFL has no room for sadists who kill dogs.

In 2007 former Falcons quarterback Michael Vick was given a 23-month jail sentence for operating an illegal dog-fighting ring, but two years later he was reinstated by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

Shembo isn`t a superstar like Vick, he`s a mediocre player and hopefully after he serves a jail sentence, no team will touch him with a ten-foot pole.

I`d love to go deflategate on this creep, and kick him in his nuts a hundred times.
