KSNT Reporter Katya Leick Has On-air Meltdown Over Cicadas! Outrage! Video!
"KSNT Reporter Katya Leick tries hard to work on her story in Fort Riley on Tuesday but the cicadas around her cause many complications. After a 17-year slumber, the sight and sounds of the creepy crawly cicada is back. It has been more than a decade, and these creatures have awakened from their deep beauty sleep. The last time these noisy bugs were out, Bill Clinton was president, and Titanic " won the award for best Academy Picture."
Katya Leick, a reporter for KSNT-TV, climbed atop a tank at U.S. Army base Fort Riley to deliver a report on live-fire drills -- she was the very picture of girl power and journalistic integrity.
But then she totally freaked when she was interrupted by cicadas buzzing around her face, and she is forever immortalized on video as an embarrassment to her gender and to her profession.
Journalists are often in harm`s way by nature of their profession, and I expect them to remain cool whether they`re covering an earthquake, flood or hurricane.
I expect Leick to appear on the air on more time to apologize to the viewers, and then she should be summarily fired by KSNT.
Leick can atone for her on-air meltdown by working in a leper colony for the rest of her life, or devoting her life to ministering to the starving in Calcutta. VIDEO http://ksnt.com/2015/06/10/when-cicadas-attack-ksnt-reporter/
