"Paul Feig, the director of the all-female Ghostbusters reboot, has posted on Twitter the first photo of the film`s stars in their uniforms.
The image shows serious-looking Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon wearing the franchise`s iconic grey-brown jumpsuits, with the Ghostbusters logo on the sleeves, however the women`s ensembles also have new, red and yellow stripes across the chest and arms.
The cast members are seen wearing their trademark, demon-battling gear on their backs, as well."
If there`s something weird and it don`t look good Who ya gonna call?
I`ll tell you who I ain`t gonna call! I am afraid of ghosts, but I ain`t gonna call the unsmiling, unsexy all-female ghostbusters crew.
Melissa McCarthy and her Ghostbusters posse are clad in the franchise`s iconic grey-brown jumpsuits, but in this Ghostbusters reboot the uniform should have been rebooted as well.
Could it have hurt ,if maybe not Melissa McCarthy or Leslie Jones, but if Kristen Wiig was clad in a Ghostbusters micro-mini skirt and halter top? I`m not a fashionista (or a male chauvinist pig), but stiletto heels would have looked a lot better than those clunky boots.
This all-female Ghostbusters will appeal to feminists, but there has to be something in it for the men as well. A little eye candy goes a long way, and covers up a lot of feminist nonsense.
