"The San Diego Zoo shared video of a koala joey clinging to his stuffed toy koala for security while being weighed during a health check.
The zoo said the 9-month-old joey, which does not yet have a name, was given a plush koala to make him feel more comfortable while being separated from his mother, Cambee, for the short time that it took to weigh him during his weekly health examination. "
I may be a sarcastic cynical blogger, but I do have my soft side as evidenced by me posting this adorable video.
The baby koala doesn`t demonstrate any interest in the stuffed animal; he just wants the health exam to be over quickly so he can return to his mother.
Children may like playing with stuffed animals, but they love real animals. Take your children to a petting zoo, and they will develop a lifelong affinity for animals.
